Le Potier, incarnation du dieu potier Khnoum, prophétise au roi Aménophis une période de malheur pour l’Égypte. Le dieu maléfique Typhon-Seth et ses disciples, les Grecs, doivent être expulsés. Une fois l’ordre rétabli, le salut et la libération des Égyptiens seront assurés grâce à Méphis-Ra.
